Operating mechanism.
Oil destined for the lubrication point is located ahead of the distributor piston.
When the controlled lubrication pump starts supplying oil, the piston moves and the oil ahead of it is delivered to the lubrication point under main-line pressure of 8–30 bar.
When main-line pressure is released, the distributor piston returns to its initial position, allowing oil into the space ahead of it.
