◆Cleaning and maintenance instructions:

(1) Clean while the equipment is operating. Open the lower drain screw, then turn the upper cross handle to dislodge contaminants from the filter discs. The contaminants drain out with the lubricating oil. Tighten the drain screw after cleaning. (2) The lower drain screw can be replaced with a drain valve for easier cleaning, but this reduces the pressure rating.

◆Precautions:

(1) Resistance from the internal filter reduces lubricating oil flow through the automatic oil filter. (2) The maximum flow the filter can handle depends on fluid properties, temperature, viscosity, flow velocity, pressure, passage area, mesh size and body bore.
