CV Single-cycle Progressive Distributor

Use with a resistance-type lubricator.

Suitable for oil and grease.

Progressive distributor.

Inquiry

1. Precise oil delivery allows the required quantity to be selected for each lubrication point. Each standard CV outlet delivers approximately 0.18cc per cycle. Outlets can be combined at the factory to increase delivery. See the CV single-cycle distributor construction description.

2. Each oil outlet contains a piston. Lubricant passes from one piston to the next in sequence. One complete cycle delivers lubricant once through every outlet.

3. Do not plug an outlet; otherwise the CV distributor cannot deliver oil normally.

4. Standard models have an indicator rod for visual confirmation of correct operation. Adding an optional microswitch or proximity switch converts the rod’s movement from a visual indication into an electrical signal.

5. Two inlet/outlet connection options are available: sleeve with sleeve cap, or push-in fitting. See the diagram below for push-in fitting installation and removal.

3. Pull the oil tube by hand to check that it cannot come loose.

◆ Operating principle (using CV-8 as an example).

cv-progressive-feeder-works1. Pressurized lubricating oil enters through inlet A, fills the piston bores and moves each piston into its designated position.
2. Piston a moves to the left and the oil changes direction. Oil previously held at the far left of piston a passes through the hole in piston d and exits through the oil outlet.
cv-progressive-feeder-works3. After the oil changes direction, it pushes piston b to the left. The oil changes direction again, and the oil previously held at the far left of piston b passes through the hole in piston a and exits through the second oil outlet.
cv-progressive-feeder-works4. After the oil changes direction, it pushes piston c to the left. The oil changes direction again, and the oil previously held at the far left of piston c passes through the hole in piston b and exits through the third oil outlet.
cv-progressive-feeder-works5. As the lubricating oil changes direction, it pushes piston d to the left. The oil previously held at the far left of piston d passes through the bore in piston c and exits through the fourth outlet.
cv-progressive-feeder-works6. As the lubricating oil changes direction, it pushes piston a to the right. The oil previously held at the far right of piston a passes through the bore in piston d and exits through the fifth outlet, completing the left-hand half-cycle.
7. The circulation principle on the right side is the same as on the left.
