Sensorik Austria for the Metal Industry
InquiryHigh-performance optical and fibre-optic sensors
For more than 40 years, Sensorik Austria has stood for reliability and innovation in the metals industry.
We develop and manufacture robust, high-performance fibre-optic sensor solutions. Fibre-optic technology increases durability and enables a wider range of applications.
Sensorik Austria’s fibre-optic sensor technology is particularly suitable for extreme industrial conditions, including high temperatures, moisture and contamination, as well as inaccessible measurement points and very long working distances.
Speed sensors and long-range optical sensors are key products in our range.
Reliable solutions for demanding applications
Our optical and fibre-optic sensor range includes high-performance sensors for specific applications:
Object monitoring on roller conveyors: optoGuard-HT
Fibre-optic photoelectric sensors or photoelectric sensors for high-temperature applications
Object detection in annealing furnaces: monoIdent MID-L
High-performance light barrier with a range of up to 80m
Collision-prevention sensors: collisionGuard-EOT
Self-monitoring collision-prevention sensors for overhead, bridge and gantry cranes, including high-humidity environments.
Speed/length measurement: VLM500
Non-contact measurement of strip, sheet and wire speed and/or length; measurement of skin-pass level, elongation and stretching degree.
Distance measurement: LDM42
Long-range non-contact measurement, including measurements on glowing hot metal.
