Kytola Water Washing for Fuel Engine Turbocharging Systems
Water is used to wash turbochargers in fuel-oil and diesel engines on ships and at power plants. Keeping turbochargers clean improves fuel efficiency and reduces engine carbon emissions.
Hot water is injected into the exhaust side of the hot turbocharger. The resulting steam removes accumulated soot.
On fuel-oil engines, this method can improve fuel efficiency by up to 2%, saving tens of thousands of euros annually.

VA Smart flow meters provide robust, reliable measurement of wash-water flow. Their 4–20mA transmitter output enables remote monitoring in marine and power-plant applications.
